North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance

NCDSA is the only grassroots nonprofit providing statewide support of people with Down syndrome in North Carolina. We provide programming, support, advocacy and opportunities to families touched by Down syndrome, the most common chromosomal condition. While we have various initiatives, we are perhaps best known for First Call, our program to support parents receiving a new diagnosis of Down syndrome for their baby. Parents are paired with trained parent mentors to support and walk alongside them in their journey.
